About MyDigitalDoorman.com
MyDigitalDoorman.com was designed by the owner of a pack and ship store. With over 13 years in the industry and a growing frustration from the lack of viable choices for in-bound package handling, he decided to custom build software to fit this need.
After a year in development and months of extensive testing with stores all over the country, it has more than lived up to the wants and desires of both its developers and its testers.
MDD continues to innovate with new features like: Today’s Mail which gives web notification of the status of today’s mail helping mail recipients plan their day and drastically cutting down on those annoying “Is the mail in yet?’ calls.
About its creator, Patrick Weir
Patrick has been in the mail and parcel receiving business for a long time. He opened his first Mail Boxes Etc franchise in 1995 and was quickly appointed to the company’s “automation committee” which advised the franchise on software and technology issues.
Multiple stores and more than a decade later Patrick won his independence from MBE and created his own Manhattan Mailroom branded store. MyDigitalDoorman.com was one of the first customized tools he created for that business, which has now become a business unto itself.
Patrick has always despised extra steps and keystrokes in software and strives for an elegant and simple approach to complex problems. With a mind and ears that are always open, he listens to customer feedback and constantly refines the approach MDD takes to handling your important packages.
